Building Canada Fund:
Communities Component (BCF-CC) BCF-CC Projects Under the Canada-Manitoba Building Canada Fund - Communities Component (BCF - CC) the Government of Canada and the Province of Manitoba have invested over $118 million to support infrastructure needs of communities in the province with less than 100,000 residents. This funding includes the $41 million federal and provincial BCF - CC contributions announced January 13, 2009 and an additional $36.24 million BCF - CC "Top-Up" investment provided as part of each government's commitment to stimulating Manitoba's economy in the next two construction seasons. Projects include new infrastructure construction, expansion, renewal and upgrades. Manitoba projects funded under the original BCF - CC allocation must start by the 2011 construction season and be completed by September 30, 2015. Projects funded under the BCF - CC “Top-up” must be completed by March 31, 2011. |
